RE-OPENING is seeking three highly qualified national professionals to fill the roles of Area Gender Based Violence / PSEAH Analyst (NO-B) in Herat, Jalalabad, and Kandahar, Afghanistan. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute key project deliverables in support of RE-OPENING's operational and humanitarian objectives in Afghanistan.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external international stakeholders to streamline protection programs.
- Establish, monitor, and report on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention frameworks and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH) guidelines within the assigned region.
- Provide technical guidance and analytical support to local humanitarian actors and community partners.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional expertise, leadership, and analytical capabilities relevant to Gender-Based Violence and PSEAH programming.
- University degree in Human Rights, Social Work, Gender Studies, International Development, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience working with NGOs or international organizations in fragile or conflict-affected environments.
- Fluency in English and local languages (Pashto and/or Dari) is highly desirable for field-level coordination.
- Deep understanding of the local socio-cultural dynamics in Herat, Jalalabad, or Kandahar.
